Overseas training/ study abroad |
Overseas travel should, in principle, be limited to countries or regions where the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan has issued a Travel Advisory or Infectious Disease Risk Alerts at Level 1 or lower. However, travel to countries or regions with a Level 2 warning may be permitted for unavoidable academic reasons, such as a degree program or an overseas internship (kaigai-jitsumu-kunren). |
