In principle, travel abroad to countries and regions with "Level 1" or lower infectious disease risk information from the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs. However, travel to countries and regions with "Level 2" or "Level 3" infectious disease risk information from the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs is acceptable for the purpose of study/training (including overseas practical training and attendance at international conferences/conferences). |

Pre-Travel Confirmation for Student Study Abroad Procedures
① Entry conditions (vaccination requirements, etc.) into the destination country/region
(Restrictive measures for travelers from Japan, etc.)
② Status of coronavirus infection, etc. in the destination country/region
(Infectious Disease Risk Information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, etc.)
③ Identify quarantine measures and waiting period upon return to Japan, etc.
④ Before traveling abroad, complete visa procedures and request issuance of necessary certificates, purchase overseas travel insurance, purchase airline tickets, etc.

Submit the " Report of Temporary Leave" and accompanying documents to the International Student Section via online by one week before your departure.
