日本への食品の持ち込みについて Bringing Food into Japan
植物の病気や虫、動物の病気が広がらないようにするため、日本では、海外から果物・野菜や肉・肉製品を持ってくることが厳しく制限されています。
To prevent the spread of plant and animal diseases, Japan strictly restricts bringing food into the country.

- 飛行機の中で出た食事やお土産でも同じです。
These rules also apply to food served on airplanes and to souvenirs. - たとえ少しだけでも、ルールを守らなければなりません。
Even small amounts are subject to these rules. - もしルールを守らずに持ってきた場合は、罰を受けることがあります。
If you don't follow these rules, you may be subject to penalties. - 最大で3年刑務所に入ったり、300万円のお金を払ったりしなければなりません。
You could face up to three years in prison or a 3 million yen fine.
